Hoaxes, Myths and other Deceits

I can't stand getting silly e-mails asking me to send some chain letter on to ten people I know and to the person who sent it to me if I truly love Jesus. Ever get one of those stupid letters. I like saying as I delete them "golly Jesus, I guess I don't love you!" *click* delete!
Fact is the reason I do delete them is because I do love Jesus and I love the ten people I would send the letter to if I thought the info had any redemption to it at all. Why send them crap? I would be afraid if I forwarded something as ignorant as that, they would think me a moron too. However, it never fails I always get crap sent to me mostly from people who have good intentions, but can be easily swayed into thinking that these silly e-mail stories of some stupidness like the flap of a butterfly wing caused a storm some three thousand miles away. Please I know people will now just send me stories like this from now until Jesus returns, which by the way cannot and will not happen any time soon (at least in the next few months or years, come on Thursday Night and I'll tell you why and it is totally biblical.)
Thanks to e-mail stupid myths, hoaxes and deceits continually hit us. How can you tell which ones are right and which ones are not? Why do people eat this fluff up as if it had any truth to it? You are invited to join me and everyone else on this Thursday night for a discussion on why we believe the things we believe.
