Every Word That Proceeds...

This week we will have a guest facilitator, Steve Shannon from Colorado Springs. Steve has been a close friend of mine for over 20yrs, my brother from a different mother.

During this time he has been on a journey that has been one of questioning and learning. He has poured his life into studying the bible, extra-biblical writings and prophetic words (from the legitimate to the bizarre and shockingly stupid).

From his questioning and studying he has found much of what we do and say in church today to be mostly man-made tradition, superstition, and out-of-context interpretation. Which, sadly, has made churches irrelevant, out of touch and worst of all a place that puts chains of bondage on people instead of freeing them with words from God.

This is not church bashing, only the state of most churches today. In saying all this I am in no way saying we have all the answers. We are only questioning to find the answers. And you are welcome to question us as well.

Steve will be asking questions important to anyone on a spiritual journey such as: How do we
hear from God? How do we know it is God? Do you prefer paper or plastic? Leno or Letterman?
